Sofie Vibeke Muasya

Vibeke Muasya is an award-winning director and producer, whose first theatrical feature film, LOST IN AFRICA, gained more than 40 international nominations and 14 Best Movie Awards from International Film Festivals.
Vibeke has since 1999 directed and produced several fiction and non-fiction films. In 2003 she won her first documentary award at Odense Filmfestival for STOFFERS ØJEBLIK. In 2017, Vibeke co-wrote and co-produced Kenya’s 2019 Oscar bid SUBIRA. Her indie thriller TWISTED selected for Frontiere at Cannes Film festival 2021, will have a theatrical premiere October 21, 2022, through Alarm Pictures.
